The nearest airport is just a stone's throw away, making it so convenient for me to catch my flight. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a bathroom in my room, a luxury I wasn't expecting!

Rusty items, unfinished construction, train noises, and a persistent lady trying to check in through the windows. Oh, just a few minor inconveniences during my stay.

Our hotel was in a fantastic location, right next to a coach station. Restaurant Cafe Rouge located 1 km away was a nice surprise. The room was clean and fairly quiet and had an electric kettle and central heating. The bed was very comfy & the staff there were kind and amazing.

Our stay at Ivy House was unexpectedly pleasant. We were greeted warmly by the owner, who sympathized with our tired and rainy arrival. He even went out of his way to accommodate us in a downstairs room due to the limited availability of single rooms. To our surprise, the entire hotel had recently undergone thorough repairs, resulting in a clean and fresh environment. Despite its proximity to the train station, our street-facing room was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The newly added internet connection and TV in the room were a welcome bonus. The location of the hotel is excellent, with Victoria Station just a short walk away, providing convenient access to transportation and various dining options. we were satisfied with our stay and would consider returning in the future.

The single room at Ivy House Hotel was perfect for me as a budget traveler. It had soundproof walls, a cozy wardrobe, and an electric kettle to make my own tea. The carpeted floor added a homely touch and made me feel comfortable.

Personally, I found the lack of free toiletries in the quadruple room a bit disappointing. But hey, that's just my personal preference.
